The Ampli-Phone® provides at least 18 dB broadband gain as compared to an iPhone without the horn. This gain can be significantly increased by placing the Ampli-Phone® in the corner of a room. In addition, the bass response of the system will be enhanced via corner placement.
The overall response characteristics are considerably smoother than an iPhone speaker alone, and low frequency response is extended by a full octave.
